Second Sundays in July and August at The Hyde Collection will feature Family Day activities! All ages are welcome to join the Museum Education team in a creative group art making activity. Everyone will play a role in creating a vibrant artwork that will be exhibited in the Rotunda Gallery at The Hyde Collection. Learn about the art of Ellsworth Kelly in a fun and accessible way. From 1 to 4 pm, a drop-in art program will be offered. On July 9, the topic will be Ellsworth Kelly: Slow Curve. Learn about color, shape, and collage. We will create patterned artworks made from the initial form of a circle to complete a paper wall mural on display in the Rotunda Gallery. Artwork will be returned to the families following the conclusion of the display. Held on July 9 and August 13 12-5pm. The Hyde Collection is located at 161 Warren Street in Glens Falls. This event is free, no registration required.
